About BananaNanners and NAnnersTech

NAnnersTech is the home of a gaming and technology content project by BananaNanners, focused on Linux gaming, PCVR, VR mods, game compatibility and troubleshooting. The motto says what the work is for: same games, more freedom.

The creator

What BananaNanners does

BananaNanners is a gaming and technology content creator who publishes video guides and written pages about running games on Linux, using PCVR, installing VR mods, and solving the compatibility problems that get in the way.

The work starts from a real problem on a real machine. A guide explains the situation, the fix that worked, and the steps to repeat it, so the same game keeps running on the system you want to use.

Channel

Video guides from BananaNanners are published on the channel below, covering Linux gaming, PCVR and VR mods.

How the content is made

Hands-on testing, with AI assistance where it helps

Content on NAnnersTech includes hands-on user testing as well as AI-assisted research, writing and development where applicable.

Hands-on testing

Guides are based on the creator’s own testing: installing, launching and troubleshooting on a real system, then writing down the steps that produced the result.

AI-assisted work

Research, writing and site development may be assisted by AI tools. Where a guide is research-led rather than tested end to end, that is stated in the guide itself.

Disclosures

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site may be affiliate links. If you make a qualifying purchase through one of those links, NAnnersTech may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Commissions never change the price you pay.

The aim is for recommendations to be relevant and useful first. Nothing is recommended because a commission is attached to it, and no product, price, discount or offer is invented to fill a page.

Recommendations

Any game, tool or product listed on this site will be there because it suits the audience of Linux and PCVR players, with a short reason explaining why. Today the recommended section is still marked as coming soon and lists nothing.

Compatibility can vary

Software compatibility can vary between systems. The same game may behave differently depending on your distribution, GPU and driver, desktop or VR runtime, and the version of the compatibility layer involved. Treat every guide as a starting point for your own setup.

Accuracy

Guides describe what happened in one tested setup. Games and tools change with updates, so a fix that worked at the time of writing may need revisiting later.

No invented claims

NAnnersTech does not publish partnerships, sponsorships or endorsements that do not exist, and does not list statistics or testimonials it cannot verify.
